Jennifer and Kevin at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie
Words are hard to describe how excited I was at shooting Jennifer and Kevin's wedding. This one was going to be different and different is what I LOVE. Jen and Kevin had met at Mahoney's Bar a couple of years ago and definately wanted to stop by the bar for some fun photos after the more formal photos at the Culinary Institute. Also, Jen wanted photos of them in their cowboy boots and hats. I live for this stuff - it was so much fun! The bar photos are my favorites of the day - and I think will be theirs too. These guys were willing to do anything and I absolutely LOVED that.

Janine and Justin
A sunset wedding at The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge in Monroe was the backdrop for Janine and Justin's August wedding. The details in this wedding were flawless, from the silhouette artist who was hired to do silhouettes of all the guests to the couples monogram hanging on the stone wall behind the cake. (how did they hang those letters on the stone wall?). Chester the labrador was one of the most well behaved ring bearers I have ever met and posed for formal photos along with running around in the background of the rest of Janine and Justin's pictures. I just wish I had the time to get my silhouette made! What a nice wedding favor.

Katie & Julio, July 26th
Katie and Julio had booked me so long ago that it seemed like FOREVER for their wedding day to finally arrive. And it finally did! A spectacular day working alongside one of my favorite videographers, Jen Cassaro. A beautiful interfaith ceremony was held in the garden at the Villa Borghese. I think the guest favors were a huge hit - coffee beans grown on Julio's family's coffee farm in Puerto Rico. A very nice touch!

Jackie and Tony
I had just photographed Jackie and Tony's engagement photos a few weeks before, so it seemed like the wedding day arrived so quickly! Jackie was stunning in a Maggie Sottero gown that was absolutely perfect for her. Her makeup was done perfectly by the fabulous Makeup by Jenny. Although the day was hot, her makeup didn't move a bit.
I got to do some cool photos with Tony and the guys earlier in the day - a nice switch up for me. A beautiful ceremony was performed by Jackie's cousin at Vassar College Chapel followed by a walk in the Shakespeare Gardens for a great photo session.
The reception in the tent at The Grandview had more food than I have ever seen at a wedding before. The centerpieces of gerber daisies and photos from the engagement session were gorgeous. What a wonderful day!
