Dutchess Manor, Beacon, NY

Tanya and Damien lost their Galveston Texas home just a few weeks before the wedding during Hurricane Ike. My heart went out to them as they had to deal with both the unexpected loss of their home and then the final planning for an upcoming, out-of-state wedding. The wedding day was perfect in every way. A magnificent fall day, fun people and a gorgeous sunset ceremony.

Unplugged

Sorry if you haven't been able to get in touch the last 3 days.  I lost power in Thursday's ice storm and just got it back late last night.  Yup, no phone messages, no email, nothing...But we've gotten most of the trees off the driveway and last night Central Hudson showed up and untangled the mess of wires, so I AM BACK.  Thanks for being patient and feel free to call now - I can answer!

Locust Grove and The Grandview

I think that Nicole and Dan were the very first couple who signed on for 2008 - way back in 2006!  I had known them for 2 years before the big day finally arrived.  This October day was a day like every October bride dreams of.  The foliage was gorgeous and the weather was perfect - not too hot and not too cold.  We had an amazing photo session at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie and then on to The Grandview for a beautiful river front ceremony.  I thought that florist David Anthony did a gorgeous job decorating the trellis for the ceremony - it was stunning from every angle.  (and so was Nicole!)
