Carrie and John, January 26th
I adore shooting weddings where I see the same families over and over again. I had photographed Carrie's brother's wedding 3 years ago and was amazed to see their little girl and another little brother/sister? on the way. It's so nice to see familiar people and watch their families grow. Carrie and John had planned a winter wedding and we had anticipated doing all the photos inside due to the weather. But, on my way to the hotel I spotted the most amazing stone castle looking structure that turned out to be the entrance to a condominium complex. The architecture was great and the weather cooperated, so we stopped for a quick 5 minute outdoor shoot that exceeded my expectations. A gorgeous sunset was followed by an intimate dinner and party at the Sunset Cove in Tarrytown.
